My name is MaryAnn Ferrell. I am currently enrolled at Tulsa Community College and will graduate in May with an AAS in Digital Media with a concentration on Graphic Design. I have decades of experience in customer service that will serve me well in my future career.

I was born in Shattuck, OK., a small town south of the Oklahoma panhandle, but I have lived in Tulsa for over four decades.

I am proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, and because of personal projects, I am adequately knowledgeable in Premiere Pro. I am in the Honor Scholar program at TCC, having taken five honor classes, and despite life throwing me some curveballs, I have maintained a 4.0 GPA.

I hope to work on book cover design and formatting, branding, logos, brochures, posters, product labels, and infographics. As a designer, I strive to help clients meet their branding, illustration, and visual needs to aid in their success.

One of my passions is helping other people, specifically cancer survivors, since I am a cancer survivor myself. My cancer journey led me to Intimate Pathways, whose focus is helping women reconnect with their intimate selves after cancer, illness, or life changes. My work with them has included being on their Board of Directors as a Patient Experience Advocate, since I was once a patient, as well as creating a patient brochure, and my future work with them will entail designing and formatting a patient and a provider workbook for an upcoming research project.

In my spare time, I enjoy writing (I have six completed manuscripts), playing Minecraft, traveling, and creating videos and thumbnails for a YouTube channel.
