Imprinted is a 99k-word Sci-fi Romance novel about a vampiric alien race called the Specter, and a human woman from Earth named Katlyn who wakes up in a cell with no knowledge of how she got there. The alien in the dark cell next to hers is polite and courteous, but he’s a literal alien from a galaxy Katlyn knew nothing about until she met him. The Specter man, known as Commander for the first several chapters, is drawn to Katlyn in a visceral way he cannot explain at first. The pair form a risky alliance to escape—an endeavor that nearly costs them their lives but brings them together in a way that could cost them so much more.
